On Monday 2nd September 2024, we changed our online consultation service provider to Klinik. We want to provide you with the best care, first time. You will be asked more questions which may take longer, but it will ensure that our Triage team obtain more information to enable us to direct your problem to the most appropriate service at your first contact with us. Please bear with us whilst we make this transition.

Our staff will be using this system for any enquiries taken over the phone for patients that do not have access to the internet, so your call may take longer. 

The submitted forms will be read during Practice hours. The forms will not be read at weekends or Bank Holidays. They will not be read Monday-Friday between the hours of 17:30 - 08:00. Please contact 111 during out of hours or 999 if this is an emergency.

Patient access and NHS app are also great ways to use our services, including online prescriptions and checking your results.

We ask that all requests for GP appointments are made by filling in an online form or by phone and not at the front desk due to confidentiality of the patient making the request. 

Frome Valley Surgery is closed on the following Thursday’s 10^th, 17^th and 24^th October while the surgery is used for pre-booked Covid and Flu appointments only.

Online consultation forms will only be available for URGENT MEDICAL NEEDS that cannot reasonably wait. 

If you are triaged as needing an urgent appointment you will be seen in a consulting room upstairs in the surgery.

Please refrain from attending the surgery unless you have an appointment as the surgery will be extremely busy.
