FVMC CHRISTMAS APPOINTMENTS NOTICE

Please be aware that between Monday 23rd December and Friday 3rd January, we will only be accepting online consultations for conditions needing immediate medical intervention.

If you need to request a routine appointment, please contact the practice via our online consultation service from Monday 6th January 2025.

Please note that the practice is closed on Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th December and Wednesday 1st January.

We would like to wish all our patients a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We want to provide you with the best care, first time. You will be asked more questions which may take longer, but it will ensure that our Triage team obtain more information to enable us to direct your problem to the most appropriate service at your first contact with us. Please bear with us whilst we make this transition.

Our staff will be using this system for any enquiries taken over the phone for patients that do not have access to the internet, so your call may take longer. 

The submitted forms will be read during Practice hours. The forms will not be read at weekends or Bank Holidays. They will not be read Monday-Friday between the hours of 17:30 - 08:00. Please contact 111 during out of hours or 999 if this is an emergency.

Patient access and NHS app are also great ways to use our services, including online prescriptions and checking your results.

We ask that all requests for GP appointments are made by filling in an online form or by phone and not at the front desk due to confidentiality of the patient making the request.
